Girls Camp

So this Summer will, I am hoping, be an exciting adventure. Well, For this blog any way. I am going to be pretty open this summer and so I decided that it would be nice to start a blog, for the summer.
So far my summer has been exciting. I went to girls camp at the beginning of June and I battled Girls, skunks, bugs and leaders...jk! The first day at camp we left real early so we could go kayaking. We got in the water and we were off to the races. Nobody wanted to stay still we were all hoping with excitement. We all got going and just short ten minutes we had to stop. We all got to jump rocks...into the water. I didn't jump because of my fear of high rocks and water. So we finished and moved on...thus I was still in the front and we started getting to the rapids. It was all fun until poor Sister Durfee tipped over.... into the gross, green, fishy and chilly water. Everyone was talking about it, thats how I heard. When we all returned SAFELY to camp. We all got set up and situated for our next four days of excitement and adventure.
The next day, Sunday, we all got up and who knows if we were pretty and it was a fast Sunday. AT CAMP! But it all turned out well. I helped cook dinner for that night, I cut the cantaloupe. I did a "mean" job!
Monday was the hike....Easy hike! We hiked for maybe an hour and then swam and had a marshmallow fight for two hours at a mini lake with a mini water fall. Everyone was jumping off the water fall, but me of course. The water was freezing so I don't know how they did that! but they did! Then the hike back was maybe a half an hour(we found a short cut..Shh)!
On Tuesday, pretty much the last day, we went repelling. And this time I did go..it was way fun, All the way down the hile I sang Wicked songs...thats kinda funny because that morning, while I was in my pajamas at breakfast, they caught me on tape singing Wicked! It was so embarrassing! but i still sang the songs, just being extra careful of who was watching!
That night was the night that we go back to main camp...oh ya woops, I forgot to mention that I was at A- Camp this year, which means we were supposed to be roughing it but...ya! so all the girls and I ratted our hair and put some durt on our face and got ready to make our grand entrance.<> When they opened the gates..we all ran in screaming and yelling as loud as we could. When we actually got to camp their was nobody their. It turns out that they were all in their cabins getting ready dinner and the rest of the nights activities. It was so much fun getting my wards cabins and telling them all about our adventures.
That night was bishops night and we did all the various activities of the night....and then had testimony thing! After ward, I got all my things together for the car ride home! so sad..I t is sad because all of A-Camp was partying that night and I was in a car all night! thats ok! I got home at like one in the morning! than woke up at 6 to get ready for school! I stunk! I feel asleep in class!
Well, thats pretty much the excitement of my summer! nothing else too exciting happend yet! But it will, I know it will!
