- There is my big sister: Kara. She's one of those friends that you can't get rid-of. If I move or she moves, we're still stuck. No she isn't my soul mate but she's pretty close. Haha. She's crazy enough to stay up all hours of the night while I play my uke. Silly enough to have late night dance parties. (All these seem to be late at night..) We can talk for hours and
still seem to not have enough time to finish. Well, regardless the time of day, she's just one of those friends that can never be replaced. - Now, there is my brother from another mother: Jeffery. He's like a brother to me. He's been there for me on countless times, even when I didn't feel like talking to anyone. Seriously, countless. No we don't hang like all the time. But we got each others backs. I think that as time goes by we wont be able to stop talking to each other. We'll write, email, text, FB, and whatever else. And if I don't see him for 10 to 20 years. I know that when I do see him. He'll still be one of my best friends and we'll laugh at our stupid growing up years.
- Kinda, sorta, not-really, but truly cousins: Laynie. This girl was one of my first real friend when I moved to Mesa. No, her other friends didn't except me but I didn't care because sometimes she would walk away from them and it would be just be her and me. It's been like that for years now. From elementary school to Junior high and now to nearing the end of our high school years together. Yeah we've had our fights, who hasn't, but by heart and mind we are kind of inseparable. Our kids will most likely play with one another (unless she moves out of the country).
- In the shadows: My seminary teachers and Young Women Leaders. I say in the shadows only because people don't really think about how much they have truly impacted their lives. If I never took
seminary, or payed attention in young womens... I don't even know where I would be now. They do all the little simple things like remind us to read our scriptures and pray. Or show us how to get the most out of a verse. And the fun little handouts that I can never seem to throw-away are one of my favorites.
I could go on and on about all the people that have been best friends to me, but I don't wanna make this post too long. So Amber, Annie, Preston, Justin, Nicole, Sara, Heidi and on and on. Haha I'll keep it short and simple: Thank You.
